Biography

As VP of Technology at the Sustainable Business Studio, he is in charge of the value proposition for all tech-related services, which operates at the intersection of Digital Technology and Sustainability, bringing together new know-how, expertise, and competence in new and innovating fields such as Green IT and Sustainable-Tech. He holds a degree in Computer Science; with +15 years of experience and solid background in software development, leadership and business development, Santiago has led many teams from inception to development of a wide array of digital projects for Globant’s clients. Since 2020, he has been focusing on applying sustainability practices into the software development process and digital services. As such, he has become a steering committee member of the Green Software Foundation. Prior to joining Globant, He worked for world-class customers all over the world, from Latin America, the United States, and Europe. Over the last years, he has led different teams in different business verticals, such as Retail, Banking, and Airlines, helping clients successfully achieve their business goals.
